Training Requirements

All personnel (i.e., Service members and DoD civilian personnel) take Combating Trafficking in Persons Training within their first year of initial entry. See DoDI 2200.01

CTIP General Awareness Refresher training mandated every 2 years for all DoD personnel. See P.L. 117-348

Personnel may take CTIP specialized trainings in lieu of the CTIP Refresher training. See FAQs

Reporting Requirement

Annual CTIP Self-Assessment (due to the CTIP Office by November 30) requires Components to report the total Component strength and how many personnel took each of the CTIP trainings.
