Military Chaplains play a vital role in the fight against human trafficking, Survivors of human trafficking have physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual injuries as a result of being trafficked. After the exploitation and abuse, they may find themselves isolated, removed from relationships with family, friends, community, and even their faith. Military chaplains are uniquely positioned to guide victims, to help them make meaning out of what has happened to them, to address moral injury, and forced criminality, and to help them heal and find renewed life. There is a companion Toolkit that may be accessed outside of the training for those that want quick access to training resources.
