Protocol for Successful Interviews

These are some important tips to consider while interviewing a potential victim of trafficking. Your role is to obtain as much information as possible to determine what crimes, if any, have been committed. As with many victims of crimes against persons – trafficking victims may have been manipulated, beaten, coerced, sexually abuse, and dehumanized well beyond our own understanding.

Successful interviewers are compassionate, patient, and understanding.
