The CTIP General Awareness Refresher Training builds on the full-length CTIP General Awareness Training course content and provides an opportunity to practice applying knowledge through sex trafficking and labor trafficking scenarios. This course takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
The CTIP General Awareness Refresher Training is designed for all personnel who have completed the full-length CTIP General Awareness Training within the previous three years. An example of the annual training sequence is:
Year 1 – Full-length Training
Year 2 – Refresher Training
Year 3 – Refresher Training
Year 4 – Full-length Training
There are several ways to access, assign, and track the CTIP General Awareness Refresher Training. The CTIP PMO encourages the use of learning management systems (LMSs) to fulfill these actions. LMSs can save time and improve reporting accuracy through the automated services they provide.
1. LMS – counts for credit and includes a certificate of completion – As of 1 MAY 2014, LMSs that host the training for credit are listed below. This list will be updated monthly to include additional LMSs. Click on the LMS links to log in and complete the course.

3. PowerPoint -The refresher training addresses what some may see as an upsetting look at the realities of Human Trafficking, as such the training hosted on LMSs may have content that is disturbing to some participants. The PowerPoint training may be taken in lieu of LMS based training for those that might find the content disturbing.
